Congratulations to our own Hamish Knight on his appointment to the City of Greater Bendigo Youth Council.

Well done Hamish!

Come and Swim with Us

Swimming is one of Australia’s most popular pastimes. As well as being super fun, it’s an awesome way to keep fit and make new friends within your local community. Joining a Swim Club is the best way to develop your swimming if you'd like to progress from a Learn to Swim program. It's also a great way to re-connect with the water if you haven't swum since your teenage years!

At Bendigo Hawks Aquatic we LOVE swimming. We're always excited to welcome new people to the Club to show them the benefits of club swimming... from Hatchlings to Hawks and Seahawks on the Open Water, we offer programs that cater for all ages and abilities! We believe that through a commitment to competitive swimming with our Club your child will develop many personal qualities that will serve them well in their communities and in life. We want to see the whole of the child develop and grow, not only their swimming prowess. So, come and join us to....

A weekend of splash and dash!

A big thank you to everyone who pitched-in to make the inaugural Ashlee Grace Skins Meet a successful event and support what was a fun weekend of swimming to close-out the swimming year in Central Victoria. Highlights were many and you can catch some of the fun over on the Hawks Facebook page.

Through the generosity of the swimming community we were able to donate $1,033 to Laps for Life in support of youth suicide prevention and in memory of Geelong swimmer Lachie Ricchini.

On Sunday morning, with the support of Swimming Victoria, the Hawks hosted a Funky Trunks Stroke Clinic with Australian Olympic legend Matt Welsh leading the day. It was also a great opportunity for swimmers to hear from local swimming champion Cameron Jordan. Joining Matt and Cameron on pool-deck to oversee the clinic were local coaches John Jordan, Anne Sherman and our own Tyson Jelbart along with Swimming Victoria High Performance Director Nic Baker.

It was a great weekend of swimming fun to put in your calendar for next year!
